Our specialist associates include former CSCI, CQC and Ofsted Inspectors, Social Workers and Care Home Managers who help meet the provisions around Regulation 44 visits.

We recommend and promote service improvement. Our associates are genuinely ‘independent’ and conform with statutory requirements.

What is Regulation 44?

From April 2015, the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015 came into force. Regulation 44 requires an independent person to visit at least once a month to make a rigorous and impartial assessment of the home’s arrangements for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children in the home’s care. This is essential in ensuring that all the proper conditions are met.
