I am a seasoned social worker specializing in safeguarding, child protection, and service improvement. With over a decade of experience, I chair complex child protection conferences, provide reflective supervision, lead quality assurance, and deliver training. Passionate about tackling disproportionality, I embed culturally competent safeguarding practices and offer consultancy to strengthen services. My approach is calm, confident, relational and child-centered.
Jordanne
As an experienced social worker of 12 years based in Yorkshire, I have an array of experience working both within Local Authorities and independently. I have experience of completing in depth assessments, supervision of contact, QA work and have 6 years experience working as an IRO and Child Protection Conference chair. I also have experience of dealing with Stage 1 and Stage 2 complaints.

Telma
I have built my career across the Probation Service, CAFCASS, and local authorities. At CAFCASS, I worked as a Family Court Advisor and Guardian ad Litem, handling various Private Law matters, including contact, residence, change of surname, and removal of jurisdiction. My time on the MASH team sharpened my detail-orientation and responsiveness to safeguarding concerns, while my extensive child protection work honed my skills in court document preparation and evidence presentation. I am committed to prioritizing and protecting the needs of children with professionalism and non-discriminatory practice, even in challenging and adversarial family situations. I’m able to work in Essex and London.
Marie-Louise
I qualified as a Social Worker in 2005 and have since specialized in supporting children and families at every stage of life. I'm an experienced Independent Social Worker conducting both private and public law assessments, with significant expertise in child protection, family time supervision, guardian appointments, and assessing foster carers and special guardians. I’m routinely commended by legal professionals, agencies, Cafcass, and NYAS for thorough, concise, and timely reporting. Additionally, I have a strong background in team management, data analysis, quality assurance, auditing, and peer reviews. I can undertake assessments in South and West London and Surrey.

Daisy
Able to work across London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and Northants, I am 7 years qualified and have 17 years of frontline social care experience. I've worked as a Senior, Supervising, and Independent Social Worker in both private and statutory sectors, including MASH, Safeguarding, and Fostering. I excel in producing robust Child & Family assessments and have served as an expert witness in Family Court. I’m committed to empowering everyone to reach their full potential through a professional, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach.
David
I have spent 40 years in statutory child care in London. I began as a social worker and team manager for 15 years, conducting family assessments, forming child protection and looked-after care plans, and managing statutory cases. I then served 3 years as a service manager, where I chaired reviews and inter-agency planning forums to address children's risks and needs. Additionally, I spent 24 years as a children’s guardian and family court advisor for Cafcass, representing children's interests in both public and private law cases and completing thorough assessments, including ISW and s7 assessments. I also have 24 years of experience as an IRO for children in care and foster carers.

Marion
Based in North London, I currently work for Aidhour as a Regulation 44 Independent Visitor for Children's Homes. I retired in 2010 as Ireland’s first Chief Inspector of Social Services after a career as a general nurse, mental health nurse, and health visitor dedicated to improving care for children and older people through regulation and inspection. I chaired the National Heads of Inspection, contributed to government working parties, and served on the Ministerial External Reference Group for the National Care Standards Commission. My expertise—bolstered by a PhD in Social Policy and a Master's in Management Practice—led me to establish a training company for care service inspectors across the UK and Ireland.
Savanna
I'm an experienced social worker currently serving in a Children Looked After team since January 2024. I support children and families across statutory settings, including child protection, court work, and early intervention. In my role, I lead care planning and ensure every child's voice is heard through multi-agency collaboration. Grounded in theories of attachment, trauma, and social learning, I'm organized, resilient, and dedicated to advocating for children’s rights. As a Stage 1 Practice Educator, I also mentor colleagues and continually expand my skills to make a lasting positive impact. I'm currently available to work across Yorkshire.

Max
Based in Essex, I have over 20 years of frontline child protection experience in the UK as a Senior Social Worker, Team Manager, and IRO, plus 6 years overseas in Australia and Romania. I’ve conducted a range of assessments—from fostering reviews and risk evaluations to court reports. In my current role, I improve services through auditing and inspection preparation, and I support children’s homes with Regulation 44 reports, compliance training, and mentoring colleagues.
Lisa
I have over 20 years of experience working with children and families across safeguarding and child protection services, as a front-line practitioner and manager. Currently I am working as an independent social worker as well as a Guardian in private proceedings and have extensive supervisory and practice educator experience. I have a particular interest in working with challenging parental mental health and substance misuse, young parents and the early years, but experience across all life stages. I am currently completing additional qualifications in Systemic Family therapy and embed these principles within all my work with families. I work mainly across the South East, London and Surrey.

Wendy
I have devoted over 40 years to the NHS, starting in 1981 and progressing from Health Visitor to senior leadership, retiring in 2018 as Associate Director and Head of Safeguarding. My work continues nationally and internationally as a National Advisor for the NHS and AoCPP. Since 2012, I have contributed as an LGA peer reviewer, supporting online reviews, training, and driving improvements in safeguarding for adults and children. My independent work includes advising on local safeguarding, conducting medical appraisals, and serving in scrutiny roles.
With qualifications in nursing, midwifery, leadership, child protection law, and education, alongside specialized training in safeguarding, coaching, and national leadership, I remain committed to advancing healthcare and safeguarding practices.
